Jackson Rathbone News

I have some sad news. As of March 4, Jackson Rathbone is no longer with the 100 Monkeys. He tweeted the news on Sunday as did the band. They also posted a news update on their website.

I am very sad to hear this news. Last July, I was lucky enough to go to one of their concerts and I had an absolute blast. I was looking forward to seeing them again. I wish Jackson and the band all the best.

On a happier note, Jackson tweeted a picture of the sonogram!  e and his girlfriend Shelia are expecting a BABY BOY!!! Yay!!! Congratulations!!!

*BREAKING NEWS* 2012 Hallmark Ornament

As you know I ALWAYS try to keep you up to date on anything NEW that Hallmark has or will have that is Twilight related.

I am happy to say that I have some NEWS! I am even more excited by what the news is! :)

Today I found out there

will be a NEW Twilight

Keepsake Ornament this year!!! 

That's right! Hallmark will be adding a third ornament to join the previous two ornaments they have had in years past. 

In 2010, they released "Edward & Bella"

which sold for $14.95.

In 2011, they released "Bella, Edward & Jacob" 

which sold for $19.95.

This year (2012), they will be releasing an ornament inspired by Breaking Dawn Part 1. The only details I have so far is that the ornament is called "Edward & Bella Wedding" and will sell for $17.95. 

The ornament is said to be available during Hallmark's Keepsake Ornament Premiere which is on Saturday and Sunday, July 14th and 15th.

A Uniform Fit for a Hunger Games Tribute

Before I went to Forks for Stephenie Meyer Day last year I bought these awesome black boots. They are usually NOT something I would wear but I totally had this outfit in mind for the St. Marcus Day Party. 


I found this dress at Ross and it reminded me of a sexier version of Bella's Honeymoon Dress that Alice would totally approve of. This dress paired with the boots was the perfect Sexy Vampire Bella outfit. So I rocked it out!!!

Since SMD I have not worn the boots again. Some might say that's a shame to keep these boots in the closet but like I said they are not something I would normally wear. 

However the idea came to me... at the end of the month The Hunger Games is coming out in theaters and I could totally rock the boots again! I could see a tribute wearing them...can't you!! LOL

Are they District approved?

I was so excited that I got District 12 when I registered as a Citizen of Panem on The Hunger Games Facebook Page. I just HAD to order the personalized accessories from Cafe Press. :) They came in the mail today!! Yay!!! 

I got the District 12 Tribute Journal and my ID card.

I also ordered a personalized t-shirt from Cafe Press. 

So along with the t-shirt, boots and my mockingjay pin that I got at Hot Topic my tribute uniform is complete!

Here is my tribute uniform that I put together and will be wearing to the movie premiere on March 23rd.

LOVE IT! :) I can't wait!

Vampire Dress Up App

While I was looking through the app store I came across this app called "Vampire Dress Up". I thought I would check it out since the two characters seemed to be modeled after Twilight and Edward & Bella. Not to mention the app was FREE for iPad and iPhone. Free is good! :)

Once I downloaded the app there was no doubt it is geared towards Twilight Fans. The two characters you get to "dress up" are Edward and Bella. 

There are two different versions of each...everyday and wedding. However I haven't figured out yet how to get the wedding ones yet.

It is pretty neat that while you are playing the app they have instrumental music from the movies playing. During the intro they play Bella's Lullaby. 

When you are "dressing" Edward they play "My Love" by Sia from the Eclipse Soundtrack. 

When you are "dressing" Bella they play "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri from Breaking Dawn Part 1 Soundtrack.

The app is very limited and you can't do much but it is designed for kids. However it's kinda fun to play with the "paper doll" Edward and Bella and change around their clothes. Something I haven't done since I was little.

They have various outfits from the movie for the characters and some of Bella's outfits are ones that Kristen Stewart has worn during different magazine photo shoots. 

Also the outfits are some that Hilly wore in The Hillywood Show's Eclipse Parody. :)
