Ellison "Ellie" Edson has fallen through the cracks of Rock Bottom. Staying in her family's vacation home in Estes Park, Colorado, her partying and self-destructive behavior has finally earned her tough love from her parents. She finds herself cut off from her parents' accounts and her trust fund, and worse, no one is willing to stand up to her father to help. After a day of drinking, Ellie wakes up finding herself naked with the man her sister loves, and can't stand to look at herself anymore. 

Despite her reputation Ellie finds a job at the local magazine. When her boss finds some pictures that Ellie took, she is given the chance to shoot stills for local stories, including following the local hot shot crew.
